The quarter-finals of the Canadian Open Squash Championship, which will be held in Toronto between October 25 and 31, will conclude in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The prize money for this tournament is $82,000 for women, making it a silver category, while the prize money for men is $26,000, making it a brass category.

Today’s match will witness an exciting confrontation between the Egyptian champion Yahya Al-Nosani and Mohamed Nasser. This match comes within the quarter-finals, and the Egyptian duo, Amina Arfi and Mustafa Al-Sirti, had qualified for the semi-finals after distinguished performances in the previous matches.

The tournament includes the participation of ten players from Egypt, where the women are represented by five players, namely: Amina Arfi, Nour Heikal, Al-Musannafa, Nardine Jars, Haya Ali, and Amina Al-Rihani, while there are five male players, namely Yahya Al-Nosani, Mustafa Al-Sirati, Mohamed Sharaf, Mohamed Nasser, and Abdel Rahman Nassar.

It is noteworthy that Yahya Al-Nosani gave a wonderful performance in the round of 16, where he was able to defeat his Israeli competitor, Daniel Polishch, with a score of 3-0, in a match that lasted only 26 minutes, and the results of the rounds were 11-6, 11-6, and 11-2.
