In its statement, the General Meteorological Authority revealed details of the expected weather conditions during the period from Wednesday, October 15, to Sunday, October 19, 2025, explaining that the country will witness a stable autumn atmosphere in which the weather tends to be cold in the early morning and at night, while it tends to be hot during the day in most parts, and hot in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Weather conditions for the next 6 days
The Authority indicated that water mist forms during the early morning hours until approximately eight o’clock on agricultural and highway roads leading to and from the northern regions of the country, including Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which may temporarily affect horizontal visibility.
The statement added that some low clouds will appear over areas from the north of the country up to Greater Cairo and the Canal cities, and may be accompanied by limited chances of light rain on Wednesday, October 15, on parts of the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, which will be at intermittent intervals.
The Authority also expected wind activity at intervals from Wednesday to Sunday in areas of South Sinai and the south of the country, which will help in cooling the atmosphere during the night periods.
As for the expected temperatures during this period:
Cairo and Lower Egypt: Highs range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, and lows range between 19 and 20 degrees.
Northern coasts: highs between 27 and 29 degrees, and lows around 19 to 20 degrees.
South Sinai: Highs reach 38 degrees, lows about 24 degrees.
South Upper Egypt: The weather is very hot during the day, with the highest temperature ranging between 38 and 39 degrees, and the lowest at 24 degrees.
