Dr. Rania Al -Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, confirmed the continuation of coordination and joint work with the French ambassador, to implement the axes of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

This came during the joint press conference held at the Ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital, to announce the renewal of the technical and financial cooperation agreement worth 4 billion euros between Egypt and France until 2030.

The Minister explained the depth of the extensive partnership between the two countries, among which is the development cooperation as one of the axes within a most comprehensive umbrella that includes investment, trade and the localization of industry, noting that Egypt always seeks to create an attractive investment climate and enhance the participation of the private sector as a basic pillar to achieve economic growth and create job opportunities, in line with the National Sardness for Economic Development: Policies supporting growth and employment that have been done Recently launch it.

She added that the localization of the industry is one of the most important axes of the Egyptian -French partnership, which is consistent with the third chapter of the chapters of the “National Sardah for Economic Development”, through which the state seeks to encourage manufacturing and local product and increase the added value, and in this regard, the ministry is working to exploit the relative advantages of each partner of development to meet national priorities.
