The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat confirmed that the safety of pilgrims in the United Arab Emirates represents a top priority for the state and its wise leadership, stressing the need for pilgrims to adhere to health, awareness and guidance instructions issued by the competent authorities, in a way that ensures the performance of rituals in a safe and healthy environment. The authority explained that the competent authorities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a set of health requirements and immunizations that must be met by those coming to perform the Hajj pilgrimage or seasonal work in the Hajj areas for the season 1447 AH / 2026 AD, noting that the requirements include certifying that the pilgrim is free of diseases that conflict with the minimum physical ability.
