Two people suffered from suffocation as a result of a fire inside one of the plastic factories in Ezbet Abu Basha Al-Qibliyya, affiliated with the village of Sanafir, in the city of Qalyoub, Qalyubia Governorate. The injured were transferred to Qalyoub Specialized Hospital to receive the necessary treatment and take legal measures, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation into the incident.

The security services in the Qalyubia Security Directorate received a notification from the Rescue Police stating that a fire had broken out inside a plastic factory and there were cases of suffocation due to the rise of thick smoke.
Civil protection forces, led by Major General Haitham Shehata, Director of Civil Protection in Qalyubia, immediately moved in, and 6 fire engines were dispatched to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas and factories, in order to preserve lives and property.
The initial inspection and investigations revealed that: Shaaban was injured. F. M, 58 years old, Ismail. A. A, 49 years old, as a result of inhaling fumes resulting from a fire inside the factory.
Major General Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Qalyubia Security Directorate, also assigned the research team to investigate the circumstances and causes of the outbreak of the fire. A report was drawn up on the incident and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
