US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday evening that the ongoing negotiations in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, between Hamas and Israel regarding stopping the war in Gaza “appear to be going well,” indicating that he may head to the Middle East on Sunday.
Trump added in press statements: “I was just dealing with officials about the Gaza deal, and we are getting very close.”
