The plan stipulates an immediate stopping of the fighting, and the release of 20 Israeli detainees alive in addition to the delivery of the bodies of deceased detainees, within 72 hours of the start of the truce, in exchange for the release of hundreds of detained Palestinians. Israel and the final position
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his approval of the plan, but stressed his refusal to establish a Palestinian state. He stressed that Israel “will end the mission” if Hamas rejects the agreement.
