“Tourism and Exhibitions” announces details of the “Bahrain Holidays 2025” season

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced the launch of the “Bahrain Holidays 2025” season on the first of next December, under the slogan “Living it every moment,” to reflect the atmosphere of joy and celebration of national occasions, and to express the diversity of tourism, cultural and entertainment experiences in various regions of the Kingdom.

Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sirafi, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors, confirmed that the “Bahrain Holidays” season represents a major milestone within the tourism sector strategy 2022-2026, and embodies the Kingdom’s commitment to developing the tourism product and providing a comprehensive experience that combines culture, entertainment and shopping, thus enhancing the sector’s contribution to supporting the national economy and diversifying sources of income.

For her part, Sarah Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, explained that the season comes this year with an expanded and diverse calendar that includes various governorates and tourist sites, in cooperation with partners in the public and private sectors, to provide an integrated experience for visitors and residents. She indicated that preparations are underway in coordination with the relevant authorities to present a season full of distinctive events that enhance the attractiveness of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a preferred destination for Gulf families.

In a new addition this year, the shopping festival will be launched next November 28 in cooperation with the most prominent malls and malls, to provide an experience that combines shopping, entertainment, and celebration of national occasions, with the aim of stimulating the local economy and supporting the retail sector and national projects. The festival will include offers, great discounts, and valuable prizes for participants and visitors.

The season also includes a wide range of family activities that combine entertainment and shopping in a festive atmosphere suitable for all ages, including the Marai Festival and the Farmers’ Market, which are organized by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture to celebrate local products and agricultural activities, and the Heritage Village Festival, which is organized by the Ministry of Information and displays features of ancient Bahraini life and its popular heritage, and the “Where and How Much” festival, which offers activities. Various interactive events, and the National Day Festival at the Rashid Equestrian Club and horse racing, which combines both sports and family aspects.

Cultural and artistic events are varied to meet different tastes, and include Pune Al Dana Theater concerts, which host an elite group of local and Arab artists, the Bahrain International Jazz Festival, the Muharraq Nights Festival organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and the Manama City Festival, which will be announced soon with its many cultural events. The season also includes major concerts, including the artist Mohammed Abdo’s concert, the “King of Theater” play, and the “Bahraini Night” concert, which celebrates national talents.

Sports events will have a distinguished presence this year, through the series of horse races at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, which attracts an elite group of participants and fans, and adds a spirit of enthusiasm and competition to the atmosphere of the season.

At the end of the season, the Kingdom’s skies will be decorated with fireworks and drone displays at seven main locations, including: Bahrain Fort, Water Garden City, The Avenues Mall, Bahrain Bay Beach, Bahrain National Museum, Al Sah, and Marassi Al Bahrain, to provide the public with a dazzling festive experience.
