Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived recently in Sohag Governorate, on a field visit during which he inspects a number of schools in the governorate early in the morning, as part of his continuous monitoring of the regularity of studies and reassurance of the progress of the educational process on the ground.

The minister’s visit comes a month after the start of the new academic year 2025-2026, as part of the ministry’s plan to follow up on performance within schools, and to review the efforts made to advance the educational system and raise the efficiency of services provided to students in various governorates, especially the governorates of Upper Egypt, to which the ministry pays special attention in its development plans.
The visit is scheduled to include monitoring the regularity of attendance, implementing educational and administrative procedures within the classroom, as well as inspecting the school infrastructure and the availability of an appropriate educational climate for students and teachers.
It is noteworthy that the Minister’s field tours aim to identify the actual needs of schools and listen to the suggestions of employees and parents, stressing the importance of providing a safe, attractive, and stimulating educational environment for students, which contributes to improving the quality of education and building an integrated personality for learners.
