Major General Dr. Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, today accompanies the delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Danish Parliament during its scheduled visit to the governorate as part of the program of their official visit to Egypt, which extends from 19 to 24 October.

The delegation, headed by Representative Christian Friis Bage, Chairman of the Committee, aims to enhance dialogue with their Egyptian counterparts and discuss regional and bilateral issues of common interest, in addition to reviewing the development and humanitarian efforts being made in North Sinai, especially in light of the role that the governorate plays in supporting relief operations directed to the Gaza Strip.
The delegation includes MPs Lars-Christian Gaske, Hella Bonnisen, Trinh Berto Mack, Ida Ogen, and Sjordur Skula, in addition to a number of members of the committee secretariat. The delegation is scheduled to visit a number of field sites in North Sinai and meet a number of Egyptian officials.
