The artist Ashraf Abdel Baqi’s latest work is his participation in the series Ould Bent Shayeb, which is currently being shown and whose events revolve within a dramatic framework around Hassan and his fiancée Nada, who find themselves involved with a dangerous person after committing a cybercrime. To escape from persecution, they find no safe haven except the home of the elderly Ezzat, who lives alone with his maid, Umm Ibrahim.
Ould Bint Shayeb includes a large number of artistic stars, most notably the artist Nabil Issa, Intisar, Marwan Al-Muslimani, Amjad Shoushi, Fadi Al-Sayed, Laila Zaher, Isad Younes, Alaa Arafa, Yasser Ezzat, and others, and the work is directed by Zeina Ashraf Abdel Baqi.
