Coinciding with the intensification of the siege on the Gaza Strip, a video circulating on social media platforms documented scenes of young people running behind a water vehicle in a desperate attempt to obtain a few drinking drops, which sparked the sympathy of social media users.

The video showed two young people clinging to water hose in tragic human circumstances imposed by the continuous Israeli blockade, which deprives the population of the simplest elements of life, especially water and food.
These images indicate a small part of daily suffering that thousands of children live in Gaza, where obtaining drinking water turns into a daily challenge to survive.
In this context, the UNRWA has confirmed that tens of thousands of Palestinians are forced to frequent displacement within the sector due to military operations, noting that families pay exorbitant costs due to the loss of their homes, at a time when the sharp deficiency of food and water continues.
UNRWA has found its call for the ceasefire immediately, and to facilitate the arrival of humanitarian aid urgently to the Strip, stressing that the situation in Gaza threatens an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe if there are no urgent steps to address the crisis.
