Not many days passed after His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, directed the Ministry of Labor to provide three job opportunities for every job seeker before the end of the year, until major national companies began to respond significantly.
Over the past two days, we have witnessed rapid action from prominent institutions that have updated the national employment platform with hundreds of new opportunities allocated to citizens.
Many companies have announced that they will provide the platform with job vacancies, and the number of jobs offered has so far exceeded 1,200 opportunities. This number reflects a serious response from the public and private sectors to the leadership’s vision, and renewed confidence in the potential of Bahraini talents.
This rapid interaction reveals that the opportunities actually existed, but they were not sufficiently activated until after the issuance of decisive directives.
It seems clear today that resolving the issue of job seekers does not depend on resources alone, but rather on the presence of a sincere will and a clear vision, translated into concrete actions measured by real results.
The new jobs varied between different sectors such as tourism, industry, health services, and banking, which indicates that the Bahraini citizen has become qualified to fill jobs in most fields.
This reflects a change in the outlook of companies, as they no longer see the citizen as an alternative option, but rather as a first candidate thanks to the competence and seriousness he has demonstrated.
What happened recently sends an important message that change is possible when there is seriousness and will. Such a response might have been possible years ago, if institutions had taken the initiative on their own without waiting for instructions.
However, what we are witnessing today confirms that when the leadership adopts a specific cause, it follows up on its implementation effectively.
There is no doubt that the credit for this major transformation goes to Prince Salman, may God protect him, who not only launches initiatives, but is keen to follow up on their implementation, in a way that enhances the culture of responsible work and puts improving the citizen’s reality at the top of priorities.
Most importantly, the entrepreneurial spirit should not be limited to the leadership only, but rather it should start from within the institutions themselves, from a national standpoint and a real sense of responsibility.
If the parties move with the same positive spirit embodied by Prince Salman, based on initiative, transparency, and focus on results, Bahrain will continue to excel in the path of sustainable development.
The past few days have proven that whenever there is true will, opportunities do not delay in appearing, and solutions begin to be realized on the ground.
