The University of Applied Sciences organizes a sports event in partnership with the Bahrain Bowling Federation

Within the framework of joint cooperation between academic and sports institutions, the Applied Science University organized a distinguished sporting event in partnership with the Bahrain Bowling Federation, at the Fun Land Bowling Hall, amid wide participation from the university’s students who showed great enthusiasm and distinctive interaction with the competition atmosphere.

The event was attended by Mr. Saleh Al Bufalah, President of the Bahrain Bowling Federation, and a number of Federation officials, along with Professor Mohammed Al Najjar, Director of Student Affairs at the University of Applied Sciences, Professor Ruqaya Mohsen, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the University, and a number of members of the academic and administrative staff.

In a statement on this occasion, Saleh Al-Bufalah stressed that such events represent a distinguished model of cooperation between higher education institutions and sports federations, noting that the federation is keen to support student initiatives and university activities that contribute to spreading the culture of sports and developing the spirit of fair competition among young people.

Al-Buflah said: “We value the efforts of the Applied Science University and its keenness to organize specific events that contribute to consolidating the values ​​of sports, and we look forward to strengthening this partnership in a way that serves the development of the sport of bowling in Bahrain.”

For her part, Ms. Ruqaya Mohsen, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Applied Science University, expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Bahrain Bowling Federation for its fruitful cooperation, stressing that this event comes within the university’s initiatives to enhance student activities and encourage students to practice sports as part of the integrated university lifestyle.

She added: “We were pleased with this great interaction from the students, and with the constructive partnership with the Bahrain Bowling Federation, which we are proud of and seek to develop in the future through new activities that serve the goals of both parties.”

The event concluded with honoring the participants and winners in an atmosphere full of joy and sportsmanship, confirming the success of the experiment and the continued cooperation between the university and the federation in organizing upcoming initiatives that enhance the presence of bowling in the academic community.
