The Supreme Judicial Council and the Public Prosecution participated in planting a number of trees in the outer courtyard of the Council, in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation, and Dr. Ali bin Fadl Al Buainain, Attorney General, as part of the Tree Week activities.
This initiative comes in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aimed at promoting the principles of sustainability in various sectors of the Kingdom, and encouraging the adoption of practical solutions to preserve natural resources.
The Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council stressed the importance of instilling a culture of afforestation and environmental preservation, noting that such initiatives contribute to enhancing awareness of the importance of participating in supporting national efforts aimed at protecting the environment and improving the quality of life.
