The Supreme Committee to receive applications for House of Representatives candidates at the North Benha Court continues its work for the second day

Today, Thursday, the Supreme Committee for Receiving Candidates’ Applications at the North Benha Court of First Instance in Qalyubia Governorate continued its work for the second day in a row, to receive those wishing to run for the 2025 House of Representatives elections, headed by Counselor Khaled Mamdouh Khadr, President of the North Benha Court of First Instance and Chairman of the Committee to Follow Up the Conduct of the Electoral Process, Counselor Shafiq Saeed, Assistant to the President of the Court, and secretly Yasser Gad, Secretary General of the Court.

Counselor Khaled Mamdouh Khadr explained that the committee began its work from nine in the morning until five in the evening, to receive candidates’ applications according to the time plan set by the National Elections Authority, noting that work is proceeding with discipline inside the committee’s headquarters amid strict organizational and security procedures.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the North Banha Court of First Instance witnessed the launch of the committee’s work on its first day, as it received 48 nomination applications from those wishing to run in the electoral competition for the Qalyubia Governorate constituencies.

The court’s vicinity witnessed a massive influx of potential candidates amid strict security measures under the supervision of the Qalyubia Security Directorate. An equipped place was allocated inside the court to facilitate receiving and receiving applications, ensuring ease of procedures and smooth flow of work.

Counselor Khader confirmed that the committee receives applications for candidacy after completing the required documents, which include:

A CV detailing academic and practical experiences
Criminal status newspaper
Statement of partisan or independent status
Declaration of the financial assets of the candidate, his wife and minor children
University qualification certificate or its equivalent
Certificate of performance of military service or legal exemption from it
A receipt for payment of the insurance amount of 30 thousand pounds in the court treasury
Opening a bank or postal account designated for electoral propaganda with the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, or Egyptian Post.

The Chairman of the Committee indicated that these procedures aim to achieve transparency and discipline in the process of receiving applications, ensuring the organization of fair and transparent elections that reflect the will of voters in Qalyubia Governorate.
