The investigation authorities in Assiut Governorate decided to imprison the student accused of assaulting his colleague with a sharp object inside an external student residence in the Siti area in Assiut, for 15 days pending investigation.

Details of the incident go back to last Wednesday morning, when Major General Wael Nassar, Assiut Security Director, received; A notification from the Rescue Operations Room stated that a report had been received about a student assaulting his colleague with a sharp object inside an external student residence in the Siti area in Assiut.
Go immediately to the reporting site; Security forces, investigation officers, and an ambulance. Upon examination and inspection, it was revealed that a student at the Faculty of Law at Assiut University was injured in the body, and blood was scattered throughout the residential apartment where the incident occurred, after his fellow student at the Faculty of Law at Assiut University assaulted him with a sharp object.
The injured person was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment and provide first aid. The accused student was arrested and is being investigated by the investigating authorities.
