A state of sadness prevailed among the people of the village of Hejaza Qibli, affiliated with the Qus Center in Qena Governorate, following the death of Sheikh Muhammad Youssef Hadid, one of the memorizers of the Holy Qur’an and a memorizer in the village, who passed away following a sudden health crisis, after which he was transferred to the hospital before breathing his last in his bed.

A number of the villagers said that they were in a state of shock after the passing of Sheikh Muhammad Youssef, noting that he was one of the people loved and close to everyone, as he was known for his piety, good character, and constant keenness to perform the five daily prayers in the mosque, despite his loss of sight.
One of those close to the deceased added that Sheikh Muhammad was a model of patience and sincerity, and devoted his life to memorizing the Book of God to the people of his village. He was a father, teacher, and educator for them before he became a memorizer of the Qur’an, pointing out that everyone became attached to him because of his compassion and good treatment.
Hundreds of people from the village of Hejaza Qibli carried the body of the late sheikh in a solemn funeral, after performing funeral prayers over him at Al-Hujairi Mosque in Nag Al-Mashara in the village, amid a state of sadness and prayers for mercy and forgiveness for him, stressing that the village lost one of the servants of the Book of God and a good example of morals and commitment.
