The first team football players competed in Zamalek Club Led by Yannick Ferreira, a morning training session today, Saturday, at the Military College Stadium.
Cairo 24 learned from its sources that Ferreira refused to give the Zamalek players a break from today’s training, due to a prior agreement between him and the Zamalek players. In the event of a victory with a large number of goals over Somalia’s Dekedaha, the team will rest for two days, and otherwise the team will conduct its training normally.
After the match between Zamalek and Somali Dekedaha ended with Al-Abyad winning 1-0, Ferreira decided that the players would train normally today and rest tomorrow, Sunday.
Zamalek qualifies for the group stage of the Confederation
It is noteworthy that Zamalek qualified for the group stage of the Confederation Cup after defeating Dekedaha of Somalia with a goal without a response in the match that was held between them yesterday, Friday, at Al-Salam Stadium, in the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Confederation Cup, after Zamalek had previously won the first leg by a score of 6-0.
Zamalek is scheduled to meet the National Bank team, on October 30, in the twelfth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
