An informed Israeli official said that the current raids on the Gaza Strip are nothing more than pressure on Hamas and will not develop into a resumption of the war, according to the Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom.
Palestinian media reported on Tuesday evening that Israel launched a violent air strike on several areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to reports, Israel launched raids on Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City and in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital, in addition to artillery shelling east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Israel violates the ceasefire
This comes after the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that it had directed the occupation army to carry out violent raids on the Gaza Strip immediately.
The Israeli occupation Prime Minister’s statement stated that after security consultations, instructions were issued to the Israeli army to attack Gaza forcefully.
Israeli Army Radio reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was chairing a small meeting to discuss resuming the war in the Gaza Strip, allegedly in response to the Hamas movement.
Israeli Army Radio said that Washington agreed to Netanyahu’s proposal to expand the yellow line in Gaza.
