The price of the euro witnessed stability against the Egyptian pound during today’s trading, Thursday, October 16, 2025, according to the latest updates from the National Bank of Egypt, as the price of the euro today in Egypt reached 54.86 pounds for purchase and 55.46 pounds for sale.
The price of the euro against the Egyptian pound today
The banks announced trading prices for the euro within a range ranging from 54.85 to 55.22 pounds for purchase and from 55.51 to 55.56 pounds for sale. Today, the euro price reached the highest level for purchase in the Egyptian Export Development Bank, and at the selling level, the euro price recorded the lowest level in the Construction and Housing Banks and the Cairo Bank.
Euro rates in government banks:
In government banks, the price of the euro in the National Bank of Egypt recorded 54.86 pounds for purchase and 55.46 pounds for sale, while the Bank of Egypt and the Banque du Caire recorded the price of the euro at 55.14 pounds for purchase and 55.52 pounds for sale.
Euro rates in private and foreign banks:
Regarding private and foreign banks, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank offered the price of the euro at 55.22 pounds for purchase and 55.56 pounds for sale. The euro exchange rate at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) reached 55.14 pounds for purchase and 55.53 pounds for sale. As for the Bank of Alexandria, its euro exchange rate reached 55.09 pounds for purchase and 55.47 pounds for sale. The Suez Canal Bank and the Arab International Bank offered the price of the euro at about 55.14 pounds for purchase and 55.52 pounds for sale.

Euro prices in exchange companies reached 55.86 pounds for purchase and 55.46 pounds for sale.
