The Palestinian Minister of Public Works told Cairo 24: The occupation destroyed 1,660 schools and 7 universities and deprived 785,000 students of education.

The minister explained in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that the number of schools that were destroyed reached 1,660, of which about 70% were completely destroyed, while the rest of the schools were subjected to partial damage that put them out of service, in addition to the destruction of 7 universities, which led to about 785,000 Palestinian students being deprived of their right to education.

He added that the aggression did not stop at the education sector, but rather affected the infrastructure almost comprehensively, as the percentage of damage in the electricity sector reached 85%, and 365 water wells were destroyed, in addition to 65% of the water distribution networks being damaged, and he pointed out that the occupation also destroyed 80% of the communications networks, and made 85% of the agricultural lands unproductive, in addition to destroying 89% of the sewage networks, and the exit of desalination plants. The five waters are completely out of service.
