Dr. Alaa Ashmawi – President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and Professor Dr. Asmaa Mustafa – Vice President of the Authority for Pre-University Education Affairs conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the visits of external review teams to the schools applying for accreditation, in order to ensure that they meet the quality standards issued by the Authority.
These visits aim to verify the effectiveness of implementing school development plans and ensure consistency of practices, which contributes to raising the efficiency of educational outcomes and enhancing community confidence in educational institutions.
The field visits included meetings with school leaders, teachers, and students, reviewing educational documents and records, and observing classroom and administrative practices, with the aim of identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Periodic follow-up of external review processes is part of the Authority’s methodology to ensure transparency and credibility in accreditation procedures, and to support schools to achieve standards of excellence and sustainability in institutional educational performance.
Field follow-up represents an important step in the quality assurance system, as it contributes to supporting schools professionally and helping them build a culture of continuous improvement, leading to a more distinguished and sustainable educational environment.
The tour included following up on the progress of field visits to both the Al-Gomhouria Official Language School, Maadi Educational Administration, and the Gamal Abdel Nasser Official Language School, Dar Al-Salaam Educational School.
Abdul Aziz Salem Farag – Director General of the Quality Measurement Department in the Directorate, confirmed that these visits come within the framework of implementing the Directorate’s policy led by Dr. Hemat Ismail Abu Kaila – First Undersecretary of the Ministry – Director of the Directorate, and Yasser Anas – Deputy Director of the Directorate, which aims to activate the system of quality assurance and educational accreditation in Cairo’s schools, noting that field follow-up contributes to supporting schools and helping them meet the standards of excellence and achieve a sustainable educational environment.
