The government expressed its approval of Shura’s draft law adding a new article No. (21 bis) to the Building Regulation Law, which stipulates specifying the times for construction, demolition, and excavation.
The proposed article provides for granting the municipality the permissive authority to issue a decision specifying the days and times during which it is prohibited to undertake some construction, demolition, or excavation work in residential areas, and the exceptional cases in which it is permissible to undertake these works during the ban.
