Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, extended his condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, and to the government and people of the State of Qatar, in the death of a number of employees of the Emiri Diwan in a traffic accident that occurred in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
The Mufti of the Republic addressed, with sincere prayers and sincere condolences, to the Almighty God, that the deceased be filled with His vast mercy, that He may dwell them in His spacious gardens, that He may inspire their families with patience and solace, and that He grant the injured a speedy recovery.
Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, also extended his sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, and to the government of Qatar and its honorable people, on the death of a number of employees of the Emiri Diwan, in a traffic accident in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
In an official statement, the Sheikh of Al-Azhar prayed to the Lord – the Almighty – that the victims be covered with His vast mercy and forgiveness, that He may dwell them in His spacious gardens, that He grant the injured a speedy recovery, and that He grant patience and solace to their families and loved ones, “Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
