The Minister of Youth and Sports witnessed the launch of the “Fly In Egypt 2025” aircraft rally, which is considered a distinguished event in the field of aviation and sports in Egypt, bringing together aviation enthusiasts from various parts of the country. International Air Rally begins "Fly In Egypt 2025" In Egypt

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the launch of the activities of the fifth edition of the International Air Rally "Fly In Egypt 2025"Which is hosted by Egypt for the fifth year in a row, and is being held this year from Sphinx International Airport, with the participation of pilots and navigators representing 13 Arab and European countries, in an event that reflects Egypt’s advanced position on the map of air sports and global sports tourism, as this unique event reflects the development of sports tourism in Egypt and enhances its role as a major destination for international sporting events.

Details of aircraft rally events

The festival extends from October 10 to 18, 2025, and is included in the International Air Sports Federation’s rally schedule. It is organized in cooperation between Sky Sports and Flying Pharaoh, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The rally receives a large number of participants, as its route extends from Sphinx International Airport, passing through a number of prominent cities and tourist attractions. It will also include flights between airports (Sphynx, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, arriving at Hurghada International Airport) with the participation of 20 aircraft and more than 30 pilots and navigators, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the beauty of Egyptian nature from the sky.

During his speech, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi stressed that Egypt’s hosting of this international event for the fifth year in a row reflects the great confidence that the Egyptian state has and its organizational ability in various sporting events. He also explained that the ministry is working in accordance with the vision of the political leadership to support sports tourism as one of the tributaries of sustainable economic development, as the aircraft rally has become one of the prominent features on the agenda of sports and tourism events in Egypt, and embodies the fruitful cooperation between state institutions in order to support sports. The quality and promotion of our tourist destinations through the sky, which reflects an honorable image of the efficiency of state institutions and their ability to organize international events with a high level of professionalism.
