The Minister of Youth and Sports participates in the launch of the “Fly In Egypt 2025” aircraft rally

The Minister of Youth and Sports witnessed the launch of the “Fly In Egypt 2025” aircraft rally, which is a distinguished sporting event that combines fun and excitement, as participants compete in the skies of Egypt and display their unique skills in piloting aircraft. This event also reflects the importance of sports in promoting tourism and attracting attention to Egypt as a leading sports destination, as the program was carefully prepared to include a variety of events that attract aviation enthusiasts. And sports from all over the world, and in the presence of a number of prominent figures, this rally was launched to be a milestone in the history of sporting events in the country.

International Air Rally begins "Fly In Egypt 2025"

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the launch of the activities of the fifth edition of the International Air Rally "Fly In Egypt 2025"which is hosted by Egypt for the fifth year in a row, and is being held this year from Sphinx International Airport, with the participation of pilots and navigators representing 13 Arab and European countries, in an event that reflects Egypt’s advanced position on the map of air sports and global sports tourism, as the festival extends from October 10 to 18, 2025, and is included in the schedule of rallies of the International Air Sports Federation, in cooperation with Sky Sports and Flying Pharaoh, in addition to the Ministry of Aviation. Civil.

The rally route and its participation

The rally route extends from Sphinx International Airport, passing through a number of prominent cities and tourist attractions, where it will fly between airports (Sphynx – Luxor – Aswan – Abu Simbel – all the way to Hurghada International Airport), with the participation of 20 aircraft and more than 30 pilots and navigators, in a competitive atmosphere that combines flying skill with the pleasure of exploring the beauty of Egyptian nature from the sky, in support of the initiative "Know your country from heaven" Launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the relevant authorities.

Supporting sports tourism

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that Egypt’s hosting of this international event reflects the great confidence enjoyed by the Egyptian state and its distinguished organizational capacity in various sporting events, explaining that the ministry is working in accordance with the vision of the political leadership to support sports tourism as one of the tributaries of sustainable economic development, and that the aircraft rally has become one of the prominent features on the agenda of sports and tourism events in Egypt, and embodies fruitful cooperation between state institutions in order to support specific sports. And promoting our tourism destinations through the sky.
