His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transport and Communications, received His Excellency Mr. Alastair Long, the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Communications welcomed the British Ambassador, stressing the depth of the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United Kingdom, and the continuous development it is witnessing in various fields, indicating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to continue strengthening these relations and elevating them to broader horizons in a way that serves common interests.
During the meeting, ways of developing bilateral cooperation between the two countries were also discussed, especially in the fields of transport, communications and logistics services. For his part, Mr. Alistair Long expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister for the warm reception, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation in areas of common interest.
