Club received Pyramids Confirmations regarding the attendance of a number of senior officials, as well as a number of prominent sports and political figures, for the African Super Cup match in Cairo, in order to support Pyramids in its mission and to win its second continental championship after winning the African Champions League.
The Minister of Sports and Abourida are at the head of the audience to support Pyramids in the African Super Cup against RS Berkane
Pyramids Club, the African Champions League champion, will host its Moroccan counterpart, Nahdet Berkane Club, in the African Super Cup, which will be held at eight o’clock on Saturday evening at the Air Defense Stadium.
Attending the Continental Super Cup match will be DrAshraf Sobhi Minister of Youth and Sports, as well as Engineer Hani Abu Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, Member of the FIFA Council, Executive Office of CAF, Vice President of the Arab Federation, and a number of sports officials in Egypt and the continent of Africa, as well as a number of prominent political figures.
Pyramids, the African Champions League title holder, will compete with Morocco’s RS Berkane, the Confederation champion, to win the 2025 African Super Cup.
The match between Pyramids and RS Berkane is the first that Cairo has hosted in the African Super Cup since 2014, specifically the match that brought together Al-Ahly with CS Sfaxien of Tunisia.
The African Super Cup match will be managed by a team of referees led by Sudanese Mahmoud Ismail, assisted by his compatriot Mohamed Abdullah, first assistant, Kenyan Gilbert Shirueh, second assistant, and Mauritanian Abdelaziz Bouh, fourth referee. The team of VAR referees was appointed, led by Ghanaian referee Daniel Laria, and he is assisted by first assistant Tom Abu Najil from South Africa, and second assistant Stephen Onyango from Kenya.
