Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received Mr. Alistair Long, the United Kingdom Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, she welcomed Ambassador Long, praising the depth of the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United Kingdom, and the continuous development they are witnessing, stressing the importance of strengthening these relations and raising them to broader horizons in a way that serves common interests.
During the meeting, ways of developing bilateral cooperation between the two countries were also discussed, especially in the fields of housing and urban planning, in addition to benefiting from British expertise in implementing relevant development projects.
For his part, Ambassador Alistair Long expressed his appreciation for the remarkable urban development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing his aspiration to continue enhancing joint cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries in various fields.
