Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, witnessed a wonderful evening of singing within the activities of the thirty-third session of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, organized by the Ministry of Culture through the Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam. This session bears the name of Umm Kulthum’s Planet of the East, in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of her passing, where music lovers gathered at the Nafoura Theater to enjoy an exceptional performance.
Wael Jassar shines in a musical evening
At the concert, which witnessed a large audience, Lebanese star Wael Jassar excelled in presenting a group of his most famous songs, mixing sweetness and feeling, accompanied by the musical band led by Maestro Adel Ayesh, and presented a group of distinctive songs such as: "Strange people", "Every promise", "You miss me"and"One thousand and one nights"Wael also expressed his appreciation to the Egyptian army men on the occasion of the October victories, praising their heroism and sacrifices, and thanking the Ministry of Culture and the Opera House for their efforts in enriching the Arab artistic scene.
