Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of the Public Business Sector, received Major General A.H. Dr. Khaled Fouda, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Local Development, and Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqia, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the Administrative Capital, within the framework of coordination and integration between state institutions to support sustainable development.

The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of joint files aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Public Business Sector and Sharkia Governorate, which contributes to improving the level of services provided to citizens and raising the efficiency of the governorate’s infrastructure, in addition to discussing ways to exploit some of the assets of companies affiliated with the Ministry in priority development and service projects that directly benefit citizens.
Engineer Muhammad Shimi stressed the ministry’s keenness to enhance partnership and integration with various government agencies, within the framework of the state’s vision to maximize the use of available resources and assets, and to achieve the maximum possible benefit from them in implementing development projects that keep pace with the trends of the new republic, pointing out that maximizing the use of the assets of the public business sector represents a basic pillar in the ministry’s work strategy to support economic and social development.
For his part, Major General A.H. Dr. Khaled Fouda praised the continuous cooperation and coordination between state institutions, stressing that effective local development requires the combined efforts of ministries, agencies and governorates to advance development, achieve tangible results on the ground, and improve the quality of life for citizens.
Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni also appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Public Business Sector in developing assets and facilities, which will be reflected in improving services within the governorate, stressing that the next stage will witness practical steps to implement a number of joint initiatives and projects between the ministry and the governorate.
This meeting comes within the framework of the state’s directions towards strengthening partnership between ministries and governorates, and accelerating the pace of integrated local development, which contributes to raising the standard of living of citizens and achieving sustainable development in various parts of the Republic.
