Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation and Chairman of the Main Committee for Media Development, received from journalist writer Khaled Al-Balshi, Head of the Journalists Syndicate, the recommendations of the sixth general conference held by the Syndicate from December 14 to 16, 2024, in preparation for presenting them to the subcommittees and benefiting from them in formulating integrated visions for developing the media system.
The Main Committee for Media Development receives recommendations from the Journalists Syndicate
The recommendations included a number of important axes that reflect the priorities of journalistic and media work in the next phase, including enhancing freedom of expression, improving the professional and economic conditions of journalists, reviewing legislation regulating the media field in line with technological and digital changes, in addition to focusing on raising the efficiency of media training and encouraging innovation initiatives in content creation.
This comes within the framework of the continuing efforts made by the Main Committee for Media Development, which aims to listen to all professional and institutional viewpoints, to ensure the formulation of a comprehensive road map to develop the performance of the national media and raise the level of the media message in line with the aspirations of Egyptian society.
