Meeting of the main committee for developing Egyptian media
The Main Committee for the Development of the Egyptian Media, headed by Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, held its first meeting at the headquarters of the National Training Academy, based on the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, with the aim of developing a comprehensive road map for the development of the Egyptian media. This meeting came within the framework of seeking to improve the quality of media content and develop its mechanisms in proportion to the current challenges.
Formation of subcommittees
During the meeting, it was agreed to form a number of subcommittees, so that members can choose the committees they wish to join. These committees are scheduled to begin their meetings starting next week at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Maspero, as this formation aims to enhance cooperation between specialists in the field of media and exchange ideas and visions to develop media performance in Egypt.
Final report and recommendations
The Main Committee intends to prepare a comprehensive report on the results of its work, recommendations, and implementation mechanisms within two months, to be presented by the Chairman of the Committee to the Prime Minister, in preparation for submitting it to the President of the Republic. The meeting witnessed wide participation from prominent figures in the field of media, which reflects the importance of this national project in promoting and developing Egyptian media.
