His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, stressed the depth of the deep-rooted, fraternal historical relations that bind the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of the United Arab Emirates, their leaderships and their brotherly peoples, which are based on strong foundations of cooperation, understanding and close coordination, praising His Majesty the mutual keenness to continue strengthening them and consolidating their foundations in all fields.
This came during His Majesty the King’s reception, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, at Sakhir Palace today, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of His Highness’s visit to the Kingdom to attend the conclusion of the activities of the third joint exercise of the International Security Alliance, where he conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al. Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and their good wishes to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people for continued progress and development under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
During the reception, His Majesty, may God support and protect him, welcomed His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Emirates, and informed him of conveying his greetings and sincere wishes to his brother, His Highness, the President of the UAE, and his brother, His Highness, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, wishing the sisterly state of the United Arab Emirates further prosperity and development.
His Majesty also praised the initiative of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates to establish the International Security Alliance, and the important role of this alliance in exchanging experiences and unifying efforts, in a way that contributes to achieving security and stability at the level of the region and the world. His Majesty appreciated the good efforts made by His Highness to strengthen fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting also touched on the new situation in the region, regional and international developments, and issues of common interest.
For his part, Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for the warm reception and generous hospitality, and his pride in the role of His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him, in developing and advancing the distinguished cooperation relations between the two countries, and consolidating the established relations that bring together the two brotherly countries and the close cooperation and coordination that exists between them at all levels.
