His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received at Al Safriya Palace today, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to greet His Majesty on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness conveyed to His Majesty the King the greetings and appreciation of his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, may God protect him, and his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their sincere wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people for continued prosperity and well-being.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Majesty the King, may God support him and protect him, welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and informed him of conveying his greetings to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and his sincere wishes for good health and wellness to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to the brotherly Saudi people for further progress and advancement.
His Majesty, may God protect him, expressed his pride in the established historical relations and close fraternal ties that bring together the two sister kingdoms, and the continuous development witnessed in fruitful cooperation, coordination, and constructive joint work at various levels, in a way that achieves good and development for the two brotherly peoples.
His Majesty, may God protect and preserve him, praised the efforts and good endeavors of his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in strengthening the bonds of Bahraini-Saudi relations, and the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the path of joint Gulf action and strengthening the foundations of security, stability and peace in the region. His Majesty praised the efforts of His Royal Highness, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, in strengthening fraternal relations between the two sister kingdoms.
During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest were also discussed.
For his part, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for the warm reception and generous hospitality, and his pride in His Majesty’s efforts to consolidate the strong fraternal relations and historical ties that link the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
