His Excellency the Minister of Information confirmed in the telegram that His Majesty the King’s ratification of this law comes as a translation of His Majesty’s vision of supporting freedom of opinion and expression in accordance with the constants and frameworks established by the National Action Charter and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and consolidating the national role of the media and journalism as an active partner in building society and promoting its renaissance, and continuing the modern development process launched by His Majesty with a firm belief in the role of conscious speech in supporting sustainable development and preserving national gains. And enhancing the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields.
