His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, affirmed that the agreement reached to end the war in Gaza is a day for peace in the Middle East and the world, as it opens new horizons for the peoples of the region to live in security and stability. His Majesty expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the friendly United States of America, for His Excellency’s tireless efforts and initiatives in support of the path Peace in the Middle East, and its direct sponsorship of this historic agreement, which reflects the United States’ keenness to establish security and stability in the region.
His Majesty the King stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm position in support of the agreement to end the war in Gaza, out of its belief that peace is the strategic choice and the best way to achieve development and prosperity for the peoples of the region.
His Majesty, may God support him, stressed the importance of the parties to the conflict adhering to this agreement and bearing responsibility for its implementation. His Majesty praised the great efforts made by the mediators and their vital role in preparing the atmosphere and finding common ground that led to this historic achievement that would consolidate the culture of dialogue and enhance international cooperation.
