The Issa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment organized a meeting for the students of the twelfth batch, at the Issa Cultural Center, in the presence of Sheikha Aseel bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, member of the Endowment’s Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Quality and Education Committee, and Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, member of the Board of Trustees and CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority, along with Mrs. Mishael Al Qatami, Acting Secretary-General of the Endowment and Director of the Department of Student Affairs and Educational Institutions.
During the meeting, Sheikha Aseel bint Khalifa Al Khalifa confirmed that the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment embodies a firm vision of investing in Bahraini students, in a way that enhances their contribution to the comprehensive development process, as they are the present and future of the nation. She pointed out the support and care that the endowment enjoys from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, and the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to provide promising educational opportunities for the people of the country to complete their university education, in a way that enhances their effective participation in building the nation.
She also pointed to the great interest that His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labor Fund, attaches to supporting students, empowering them with education and knowledge, and qualifying them to engage in various fields to serve the nation and enhance its progress.
For her part, Mishael Al-Qatami, Acting Secretary-General of the Endowment and Director of the Department of Student Affairs and Educational Institutions, explained the Endowment’s commitment to continuing to support Bahraini youth and open horizons for them to achieve their scientific ambitions and enhance their role in serving society, stressing that periodic meetings with students represent an opportunity to enhance direct communication with them and provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary for excellence, enabling them to compete regionally and internationally to be An honorable model of service to their country.
The students expressed their appreciation for the support they receive through the endowment’s programs and the qualitative opportunities it provides to complete their university studies, stressing that these initiatives contribute to refining their scientific and research skills, and open up broader horizons for them to participate in various fields of development.
The meeting included an introductory presentation on the endowment’s journey and its educational and humanitarian goals, in addition to a workshop aimed at supporting students at the beginning of their academic career, and enhancing their spirit of perseverance and excellence in line with their future aspirations.
It is noteworthy that the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment was established in 2013 in memory of His Greatness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may God rest his soul, who devoted his life to serving the nation and its children. Today, the Endowment continues its mission of supporting ambitious Bahraini students by providing quality educational scholarships that enhance the building of the Bahraini human being as the basic pillar of sustainable development.
