Based on the approach to strengthening permanent communication between the governorate and the people, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, received, in the Governorate Council, a number of deputies, the president and members of the Municipal Council of the Southern Region, and the people, in the presence of Brigadier General Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor, in addition to the presence of a number of officers and officials from the Southern Governorate.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Governor welcomed the people and the attendees, stressing the keenness to strengthen the approach to communication with citizens and to devote constants and established national values, within the sound vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and to follow up and support the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in a way that would achieve more comprehensive development services.
The Governor of the Southern Governorate stated that the governorate continues its efforts in holding direct meetings and adopting a series of field visits to meet the needs of families and citizens in various fields, and to follow up on plans to develop the most prominent development, service and social projects. His Highness stressed the continuation of initiatives and purposeful programs and the endeavor to meet the needs of the people in order to enhance community partnership, in cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities, in an effort to improve the level and quality of the services provided.
The Governor listened to a number of the needs of the people by the representatives, and a number of security, service and social observations and proposals by the people. His Highness stressed the diligent follow-up of all the observations received through coordination with the service agencies that contribute to meeting their needs in various fields.
At the conclusion of the council, the people expressed their thanks and appreciation for the constant communication provided by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, and His Highness’s diligent follow-up of all development needs in the various regions of the governorate, appreciating the governorate’s efforts in achieving integrated work with various parties.
