The Governor of Dakahlia makes a surprise visit to Mansoura School and listens to the students’ opinions about patriotism

Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, inspected the Mansoura Preparatory School for Boys in a surprise visit. This visit came with the aim of ensuring the regularity of studies and monitoring the level of educational performance, cleanliness and discipline within the classrooms. The Governor conducted inspiring dialogues with the students that addressed multiple aspects of patriotism and belonging, and also highlighted historical issues that reflect national strength and dignity.

The school witnessed a discussion about the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for next Saturday, which is considered the result of great national efforts under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. This opening expresses Egypt’s historical status and consolidates its civilization among the nations. We will not only display antiquities, but rather we will display an entire civilization rich in history.

During his conversation with the students, Marzouk explained the importance of the great October victory that was achieved in 1973, pointing out that this victory remains a symbol of heroism and sacrifice within the conscience of every Egyptian, and the heroes from the armed forces were able to restore Egypt’s dignity and pride. He explained that the victory is a source of pride for all the people of Dakahlia and Egypt as a whole.

The governor also addressed the air battle that Mansoura witnessed, noting the role of the valiant pilots who served the nation with all courage, and despite the different times, national memories remain engraved in the souls. He expressed his pride that Dakahlia has given birth to many shining icons in multiple fields, calling on the students to adhere to their honorable history and contribute to building a better future.

On the other hand, Marzouq stressed the importance of cleanliness in classrooms and schoolyards, noting the necessity of providing a safe and healthy educational environment. He pointed to the role of teachers as role models in instilling national values ​​in the hearts of students, as the teacher is considered to have a lofty mission in building generations and contributing to shaping the future of the nation. Education is not limited to science only, but goes beyond that to consolidate the values ​​of humanity and belonging.
