The Freedom Center for Creativity in Alexandria, affiliated with the Cultural Development Fund, is organizing a national evening entitled: “Day of Pride and Dignity,” at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Symposium to celebrate the anniversary of the October Victory
The evening commemorates the heroism and sacrifices of the men of the armed forces in the glorious October War, in the presence of a number of real heroes who participated in creating the victory, within the framework of the Ministry of Culture’s celebrations of the anniversary of the glorious October victory.
A number of heroes of the glorious October War will participate in the evening to present their live testimonies about the battles and heroic situations, in addition to showing a documentary film documenting features of those immortal battles.
It includes: Major General Hussein Masoud – one of the heroes of the Air Force and former Minister of Civil Aviation, Major General Muhammad Rabie – a missile engineer, and Major General Nabil Abdel Wahab – the hero of the destruction of the port of Eilat.
In addition to the hero Muhammad Nour al-Din – the hero of the Battle of Kabrit, Captain Ali Abdul Ghani – the hero of the naval commando and the first to capture an Israeli pilot, and the hero Abdul Jawad Sweilem – nicknamed the “living martyr.”
The meeting is moderated by Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah, President of the October 73 Heroes League, in the presence of a crowd of fans of the homeland and Egyptian military history.
The event will be held by free invitations within the framework of the cultural and enlightening role played by the Freedom Center for Creativity in Alexandria, to celebrate the heroes of Egypt who made history with their blood and sacrifices.
