Director Khaled Diab spoke about the scenes of filming the movie Lion, starring the artist Mohamed Ramadan, in preparation for its soon showing in all theaters, stressing that the work preparations were intensive in production.
Khaled Diab said at the celebration of the launch of the trailer for the film Lion: The film is the second most productive Egyptian work, and this film by the author is considered a very big gamble.
He continued: From the beginning, I did not see anyone other than Muhammad Ramadan at work. All the heroes were angels. I saw a year and a half of abnormal commitment from Ramadan. He wanted to discover himself from the beginning and new.

The film “Lion” is directed by Mohamed Diab, written by Sherine Diab, Mohamed Diab, and Khaled Diab, photographed by Ahmed Bashari, edited by Ahmed Hafez, decorated by Ahmed Fayez, and costume designed by Reem Al-Adl, and the film’s soundtrack is handled by Hisham Nazih. The film stars Mohamed Ramadan, the Lebanese Razan Jamal, Ali Qasim, and Majed Al-Kedwany, the Sudanese Islam Mubarak, Ahmed Dash, and the Palestinian Kamel Al-Basha.
The film Lion belongs to the genre of historical action works, which depend on a huge production budget. The work was initially called Black Lion, before its makers settled on Asad as the final name for the project. The work brings together Mohamed Ramadan and director Mohamed Diab for the first time, and its events take place in a social, romantic framework full of suspense and action, and focuses on the issue of racial discrimination and unfair treatment between individuals in society, through an era. The time during which people suffered from these phenomena, and how they ended.
