This came during a meeting with His Highness, may God protect him, at Gudaibiya Palace today, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of Their Excellencies senior officials, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and members of the Kingdom of Bahrain Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain Pavilion’s “Convergence” victory. Al-Bahar” won the gold award in the category of best architecture and landscape for self-built pavilions, as part of the official participant awards granted by the International Board of Exhibitions (BIE), where His Highness expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain Pavilion team, stressing that the achievement achieved at Expo Osaka 2025 reflects the spirit of the Bahrain team based on teamwork, creativity and insistence on excellence, and embodies great confidence in National competencies and their ability to achieve successes that raise the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain high in major international forums and events. This achievement also embodies the international appreciation that the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoys, highlights its excellence and consolidates its competitiveness in the fields of architectural creativity, innovation, design and sustainability. His Highness pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain is proud of its national heritage, which forms the basis of its identity, and is proud of the progress and cultural prosperity achieved on its land, and is keen, through its international participation, to deliver it to various countries of the world, in a way that enhances cultural and human communication. His Highness stressed that the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain are always a source of pride and honor and represent it in forums with the best representation. For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s “Meeting of Seas” pavilion won the gold award in the category of Best Architecture and Landscaping for Self-Building Pavilions, as part of the official participant awards granted by the International Board of Exhibitions (BIE). He raised the Kingdom’s name in various international forums, expressing his deep thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, for his support and continued interest in the culture and antiquities sector.
