The Ministry of Interior confirmed that, as part of the ongoing efforts to maintain maritime safety and address and control violations, the Coast Guard Command implemented a joint inspection campaign in a number of maritime areas, in cooperation with the Ports and Maritime Affairs, the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The campaign aims to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to maritime safety, and to educate workers and seagoers about the importance of following guidelines and instructions. The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of violations, and the prescribed legal measures were taken against the violators.
The Coast Guard leadership confirmed its continued implementation of such campaigns in cooperation with relevant authorities, as part of a partnership approach in supporting maritime security and enhancing public safety.
