The Ambassador of the Republic of China to Bahrain, Ni Ruoqi, affirmed his country’s readiness to continue working hand in hand with Bahrain to further deepen cooperation in various fields, share the fruits of development, and write a new joint chapter in the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
He praised the long-term friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of China, saying: Although the two countries are separated by thousands of miles, our friendship is long-term, and the foundation of our cooperation is solid, referring to the successful visit made by His Majesty the King to China last year, and His Majesty’s meeting with President Xi Jinping, during which the announcement of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Bahrain and China, which raised bilateral relations to a new historical stage.
This came during a dialogue session organized by the Chinese Embassy in the Kingdom in partnership with the regional office of the Chinese Media Group CMG in the Middle East, a session entitled the global dialogue “Innovation, Openness, and Common Development,” in which the Chairman of the Bahraini-Chinese Friendship Society, Jawad Al-Hawaj, and businessmen and influencers participated.
The ambassador pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain is currently hosting the third Asian Youth Games, and he offered his sincere congratulations on this occasion, wishing success for the prominent sporting event, and pointed out that China sent its largest delegation to the Games among all the participating countries.
Ni Ruqi added: Since the visit of His Majesty the King, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, and with joint efforts, our mutual political trust has continued to grow, economic and trade cooperation has achieved fruitful results, and people-to-people and cultural exchanges have become increasingly close.

For his part, Chairman of the Bahraini-Chinese Friendship Society, Jawad Al-Hawaj, stressed that holding the dialogue in Bahrain confirms its advanced position as a platform for international dialogue, a center linking East and West, and an incubating environment for new ideas and initiatives that contribute to shaping the features of a brighter future.
He said that the world is witnessing rapid transformations led by technology, innovation and the digital economy, and no country can face the challenges of this era or benefit from its opportunities without opening up to the world in a spirit of cooperation, and believes that sustainable development is only achieved through partnership and integration. From this standpoint, the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China represent a pioneering model of relations that combine authenticity and future vision.
Al-Hawaj stressed that the historic visit made by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, to the People’s Republic of China, was a pivotal step in the process of cooperation between the two countries, and reflected the depth of the strategic relations between Manama and Beijing, and consolidated the political will of the leadership of the two countries to enhance cooperation in various fields.
He noted that the Bahraini-Chinese Friendship and Business Association is committed to translating the directives of the wise leadership into reality through initiatives and programs that enhance cooperation between businessmen and investors from the two countries, provide platforms for trade and cultural exchange, encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and support projects that combine advanced Chinese technology with Bahraini expertise.
In a video speech, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Editor-in-Chief of the China Media Group, Chen Haixiong, confirmed that China will work to inject more confidence, strength, and openness to the world and strengthen the multilateral trading system.
He said: “When China improves, the world becomes a better place,” and with China’s fourteenth five-year plan approaching its end, the country’s economic and social development has reached a new level, as China contributes to the growth of the global economy by 30%.
It aims to enhance practical cooperation between China and Bahrain in the areas of innovation, openness and common development, while showcasing human achievements and stories within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
