The Israeli occupation army announced, on Monday evening, the recovery of the body of Reserve Major Tal Haimi, a member of the emergency unit in Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, who was killed during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, on October 7, before his body was kidnapped into the Gaza Strip.

According to a statement issued by the Israeli occupation army, the process of identifying the body was completed by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in cooperation with the Military Police and the Military Rabbinate.
The statement added, “The Israeli government shares the deep sadness of the Haimi family, and affirms its full commitment to returning all the bodies of the kidnapped to Israel for burial on its lands.”
According to what was published by Yedioth Ahronoth, with the recovery of Haimi’s body, 15 other bodies of Israeli soldiers and civilians remain in the Gaza Strip that are still being held by Hamas, according to what the Israeli government announced.
