The Bahrain Basketball Association announced the launch of the official logo for the Gulf Basketball Championship 3×3 for male and female categories under 21 years of age, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain on the 19th and 20th of next November, with the participation of the teams of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in a new step that reflects the distinguished position that the Kingdom occupies in terms of hosting and organizing regional sports tournaments.
The logo includes a modern design that combines the symbolism of basketball and the colors of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in reference to the unity of Gulf youth and their sports cohesion.
The logo also features the name of the tournament in gold to reflect the spirit of competition and excellence, while the name “Bahrain 2025” is in red to confirm the Kingdom’s identity as the host of this Gulf event.
The dynamic circular shape embodies the movement and vitality of the game, which expresses the game of 3×3 basketball.
On this occasion, Mr. Hassan Yassin, Tournament Director, stated that the logo was designed to reflect the youthful spirit of the Gulf Championship, as it combines simplicity and strength in expression, and symbolizes the coming together of Gulf talents under the banner of honorable competition.
Yassin said that the logo also embodies the vision of the Bahrain Basketball Association in making Bahrain a regional center for 3×3 basketball tournaments, noting that the launch of the tournament’s visual identity comes within a comprehensive media and promotional plan aimed at highlighting the event and highlighting its sporting and social values.
He added that the organizing committee is continuing its preparations at various levels to ensure the organization of an exceptional tournament worthy of the name of Bahrain and the reputation of the Bahraini Basketball Federation, which has established its position as one of the most prominent Gulf federations in organizing major demonstrations.
This inauguration marks the official launch of the tournament, which receives great attention within the Bahrain Basketball Association’s calendar for the year 2025.
Yassin stressed that the Kingdom’s hosting of this tournament comes as part of a series of developmental steps taken by the Federation to advance the sport of basketball and enhance its presence in Gulf and international forums.
He said that organizing the Gulf 3×3 Under-21 Championship for young men and women represents a qualitative addition to Bahrain’s record of organizational successes, and reflects the support of the sports leadership and its keenness to develop the 3×3 game, which is witnessing rapid global growth, and which has become part of the Olympic program.
