Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, followed the progress of work in implementing the third phase of the 27th wave to remove encroachments on state-owned lands and agricultural lands, which was extended until November 30, 2025, in implementation of the decision of the State Lands Recovery Committee, as part of the government’s efforts to complete the removal campaigns, restore the state’s right, and confront all forms of encroachments and illegal construction.

The governor explained that these efforts come in implementation of the directives of the political leadership on the necessity of preserving the state’s lands and implementing the law decisively, stressing the continuation of field follow-up to implement the removal decisions in the various centers, in coordination between the executive agencies, security agencies, and concerned state agencies, in accordance with the timetable specified for each center.
The state property management report, which the governor reviewed, indicated that 655 cases of removal had been carried out since the start of the third phase on the fourth of this October until yesterday, Tuesday the 28th of the same month, including 224 cases of trespassing on state property, and 431 cases on agricultural land.
It is worth noting that the 27th wave is being implemented in three successive phases during the months of August, September, and October. The first phase began during the period from August 9 to 22, followed by the second phase from August 30 to September 26, while the third phase began on October 4, and was extended until the end of next November to complete the implementation of the removal decisions in all the centers of the governorate.
