The 26th of July Corridor Extension Road is reopened to traffic
The road was completely closed for one day, in front of Misr University in the direction coming from Al Wahat Road, as part of the construction work for the Misr University monorail station project.
In a separate context, smoke has now risen next to Mehwar Road, before Sudan Street in Giza, which has raised citizens’ questions about the source of these smokes this early morning. Upon examination, it was found that it was the burning of some waste on the side of the road, and did not result in any material or human losses.
After seeing the thick smoke at the top of the road, one of Cairo 24’s editors went to the location of the smoke and found that it was just burning in some waste next to an empty land on the side of the road below the axis in the Ard El-Lewa area of Giza Governorate.
